Our vegetarian shares highlight the best of local farms and keep you warm through the winter months.  Throughout the growing season we’ve been coordinating with local farmers to preserve the harvest for your winter enjoyment.  We’re collaborating with our friends at Locavorious,  a frozen food CSA program, to bring you summer’s bounty, frozen at peak freshness.  We’re also sourcing cold storage crops such as potatoes, onions, carrots, and cabbage from local farmers including Tantre Farm, Frog Holler Farm and Our Family Farm. Finally, we’re delighted to announce new partnerships with the young farmers at Deertracks Farm and Sunseed Farm, who will be bringing us fresh salad and cooking greens from their hoop greenhouses all winter.

Our menus each week will include hearty soups,  fresh salad mixes, comfort food, tasty sides, and dishes inspired by cuisine from around the world.   These healthy dishes are high on flavor and low on fat and salt.  But don’t worry—healthy eating has never been this delicious.

Note that Vegetarian shares are cooked on a different day from the Omnivore shares and we plan a separate Vegetarian menu.  There’s no risk of meat making it’s way into a Vegetarian share.

Vegan options are available on request.
