Through our Bakery we offer wholesome baked goods made with organic and local ingredients.

The Harvest Kitchen Bakery season at the Farmer’s Market is over for this year. We plan to return in December 2010 or January 2011.  Many thanks to all of our customers for stopping by to visit and enjoy tasty, locally-sourced baked goods.

We are continuing to offer our popular bakery items for special order all summer long.  To place an order, please email Mary at info at harvest-kitchen .  Special orders will be available for pick up at the Kitchen (1923 Geddes Ave) on Tuesdays and Fridays or at the Farmer’s Market by special arrangement.

Mary’s Crunchy Granola – the ideal blend of organic rolled oats, cashews, sunflower seeds, coconut, honey, and cinnamon. Not too sweet—just the way to start your day. $6.50 per tub

Mary’s Unsweetened Granola – the natural mild flavors of nuts and oats blend perfectly for a tasty no-sugar breakfast. $6.50 per tub

Seed-Filled Granola – Same crunch, no nuts! $6.50 per tub

Michael’s Special Request Granola – A tasty combination of oats, almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. This honey-sweetened granola has its own loyal following. $6.50 per tub

Pendle Hill Brown Bread – a hearty, dense loaf, perfect for every day sandwiches and toast. $6.50 a loaf

Choose one of our ever-popular Muffins: all-local Bran, fair trade Chocolate Chocolate Chip, vegan Apple Coconut, or spicy Apple Raisin, Or ask about a seasonal special. $1.25 each or six for $5; minimum order: six of one kind

We source as many ingredients as we can locally. We use flour from Westwind Milling, dairy from Calder Dairy and more.  Of course, some ingredients do come from out-of-state (no Michigan cashew crop, you see), so we always look for organic ingredients for these items.
