
As the Community Farm Kitchen grew and the Long Winter kitchen and the Bakery evolved, we realized that there was great interest from our members to enjoy local, fresh, chemical free meals and baked goods year round. Since we only harvest from the Community Farm of Ann Arbor in the summer and fall and work with other farms and businesses in the winter, we needed to change our name to something more all-encompassing. We sensed that there was a lot of confusion in communicating all three names and areas of our businesses. Therefore, we decided to combine all three under one name: Harvest Kitchen. Harvest Kitchen is a prepared food Community Supported Agriculture(CSA) program which offers year-round share options including both vegetarian and meat shares.
